Mercedes-Benz Club of America is officially a Featured Club at the 2025 "Classic Motorsports Amelia Island Kickoff Presented by Sunoco"!
($45 to register a car; spectators are free).
This event will be in Fernandina Beach at Main Beach Park, just a few miles north of the Ritz-Carlton!
Preregistration is required, and limited spots remain.
We'll see some of the classic car world's biggest celebrities awarding prizes to their favorite cars!
Amelia Island Kickoff Schedule
Friday, March 7:
9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.: Will-call open
12:00 p.m.: Show gates open for pre-registered vehicles. Vehicles that haven't pre-registered will not be admitted to the show.
1:00 pm: Show gates close to all car traffic. If you are registered for the show and aren't in line to enter before this time, you will not be admitted to the show. Spectators on foot are welcome at this time.
1:30 p.m.: Judging begins.
3:00 p.m.: Panel discussion on main stage.
4:00 p.m.: Awards ceremony. Winners must be present to receive prizes.
5:00 p.m.: Show ends, gates reopen.
Vehicles may not enter the show before gates open, and must exit show immediately after its conclusion. Schedule subject to change without notice.
The Classic Motorsports Amelia Island Kickoff is presented by Sunoco, with car blocks presented by Moss Motors and NPD, in association with Hagerty Drivers Club, Griot's Garage and Reliable Carriers.
Capacity: Limited to 150 preregistered cars.
This is a "save the date" type of event for Mercedes-Benz Club of America Members, listed by the Mercedes-Benz Club of America Southern Stars Chapter and Southeast Region for member convenience. We are not the event hosts.
Event requirements from the hosts:
All entries must be accepted by our selection committee. To submit your vehicle for acceptance, register for the event. All new registrations will automatically be wait-listed until evaluated and approved or rejected by the committee. Your card will not be charged unless your vehicle is accepted. Upload a photo and details of your car during registration to improve your chances of being selected.
From the event hosts: "What cars are we looking for? We're looking for classic sports and luxury cars, newer exotics, and classic 4x4s ... our plan is to fill the green space of Main Beach Park, just a few miles north of the Ritz-Carlton, with awesome cars and great people. Along the way, we'll send some of the classic car world's biggest celebrities through the field awarding prizes to their favorite cars."
