Sunday afternoon TECHNICAL SESSION: Light scratch removal, filling stone chips, paint correction, and compounding
Gregg Semanchick is NEPA section's new Technical Advisor.
In a survey conducted last spring, many members indicated they would like more tech sessions.
Greg would like to start the year off focusing on making your car look the best it can. The goal is to give you the knowledge and experience to make your car shine for summer drives and the upcoming car show season.
This will be a hands-on event.
Sunday March 30th in the afternoon only, the tech session will be:
Light scratch removal, filling stone chips, paint correction, and compounding
The day before, Saturday March 29th Topic is:
How to properly wash the exterior, detail engine bay, clean & preserve the interior, clay and waxing/polishing (full day)
Members can participate in both sessions, or just the one you think is appropriate given your availability and desired outcome.
Otto and Alice Christensen have graciously offered their garage in Mohrsville, PA for technical sessions. All equipment and products will be provided, such as random orbital polishers, pads, polish/wax, cleaning solutions, leather conditioner, etc. We will all work on one car so we can watch others and learn from the questions and answers. This will be an excellent opportunity for everyone to improve their detailing skills.
Cost for each day's event is $10 per person per day's session, to cover beverages and snacks.
Space is limited to ensure members can have time practicing techniques.
Please RSVP to Gregg Semanchick at 570-449-4980 or gre423gg@gmail.com if you plan to attend.
