This is a short Sunday drive (~30 miles) near Cottage Grove that will stop at a series of historic covered bridges. A driver's meeting/release form signing will occur at 9:45 am in the parking lot north of the Chamber of Commerce located at E Whiteaker Ave and N 9th Street and the drive will start at 10:00 am. With the fall weather upon us, trees are changing color for good views of these bridges and potential photo opportunities at each one. At the end of the drive loop, we can socialize with lunch at Coast Fork Brewing at approximately noon.
The route map with detailed instructions will be passed out at the drivers meeting. It includes a list of local murals and antique stores for your consideration.
