More than just wine and cars. Opened by the late real estate millionaire Robert Knapp in 1979, who had a thing for convertibles -- and antique radios, typewriters, kitchen appliances, televisions, neon signs, and Barbie dolls. Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum

Is a living-history museum founded in 1969 located on 55 acres of county-owned land on the outskirts of Vista, California, covered with antique tractors and steam engines.

"The museum is open almost every day but June 22 is a significant event. It is one of only two days per year where all the engines are running. Don't miss this unique opportunity, we will have a Docent explaining how the engines operate."
