Join the Houston Section for a day trip to the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station. 

Our visit will include the new pavilion that just opened a few months ago in celebration of what would have been the 100th birthday of President Bush. The pavilion includes a retired Marine One helicopter a restaurant and the Union Pacific 4141 Locomotive that transported the body of President Bush from Houston to his final resting place on the grounds of the Bush Library.

    Paul Hill




    Paul Sean Hill earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in aerospace engineering, from Texas A&M University in 1984 and 1985 and was a member of the Corps of Cadets. 

    He then served in the United States Air Force for four years in military satellite operations. This led to a 25 year career with NASA.

    His work at NASA started with developing space station construction techniques followed by leading flights from Mission Control as a Space Shuttle and International Space Station Flight Director from 1996 through 2005. He supported 24 missions as a Flight Director, culminating as the Lead Shuttle Flight Director for the return-to-flight on STS-114 after the Columbia accident.

    He went on to be Director of Mission Operations for all manned spaceflight, retiring from NASA in 2015.

    Kenneth Stuntz is a Retired Engineer who dedicated his career to the testing and evaluation of the performance of newly developed fuels, additives, and lubricants. Ken's 35-year career included designing tests and evaluating the performance of newly developed fuels and lubricants for Chevron, as well as dedicating the last twenty years of his career marketing fuels and petrochemicals for The Ethyl Corporation.

    Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois as well as a Master of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University and is a career-long member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
